"Lost in Los Angeles" is another hidden-object game of the series. This time, you are called to solve the mystery of a missing film in Hollywood.
The game is mainly composed of hidden-object games. Every level has two locations to explore with a list of objects that you need to find in order to collect clues. The scenes are very well made and attractive and the objects are very well hidden, although they don't have anything to do with the story. What is more, every location has one hidden key and a film reel, and if you find them all, you unlock two bonus game modes. This contributes to the replayability and length of the game. If you have trouble finding a certain object, you can use hints, which are unlimited (if you select that option from the option menu), but they take some time to recharge and subtract points from your score. There are also penalties for continuous clicking without finding an object. Also, if you find several objects quickly, you get extra points. You can also choose to play in relaxed or timed mode, which is great.
In between levels, there are also mini-games that are barely related to the story, but they are fun. As for the graphics, they are really good, with detailed objects and scenes, which are very pleasant to the eye. Sound effects are also good and the music is very relaxing.
Mystery P.I. - Lost in Los Angeles is just another game of the hidden-object genre, which doesn't offer anything new, but it is enjoyable and guarantees a long playing time.
